“The government recognizes the need for strategic direction in the science, technology and innovation to promote and build knowledge-based economy. In this regard, an emphasis is placed on the development of PNG’s national endowment, which encompasses; the people, the diverse natural resources and the rich cultural heritage through scientific enquiries and policy advice”.
With launching of the website, I see a greater interaction and accessibility between scientific research, knowledge creation and knitting of these into policy advice. I expect to see focused direction and guidance that will morph up research programs and activities across universities and research institutions. I welcome you all to the access and use of the website for whatever needs you have concerning research and development.
